Additional Information

The Pettis County Historical Society will sponsor the 12th annual Sedalia Rails Train and Toy Show at Convention Hall Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m., to 3 p.m.

On stage will be model railroads in various scales, in addition to a LEGOS layout.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase model trains, railroad collectibles, toys, books and antiques from dealers and individuals.

There will be door prizes awarded every hour.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

All proceeds from the show will go to the Pettis County Historical Museum for building maintenance and program materials, it was noted. The museum, located on Dundee Street, receives no governmental funding, and instead relies on individual donations and events like the train show to remain open to the public. The museum is a tax-deductible 501(c)3 organization.

Admission is $5 for adults. Children ages 12 and under are free.

Dealer tables cost $16 each. The deadline to reserve a table is Oct. 25.
