Rent Smart Program

March 12, the University of Missouri Extension will present Rent Smart.Rent Smart is an education program that provides information to help partiticpants succeed at tenants, avoid legal hassles, and know their rights.  They will cover things like: finding a place to live, the rental application process, understanding rental agreements, maintenance (who is responsible for what), keeping your home safe and clean, and communicating with your landlord.  To register, call the Sedalia City Hall at 827-3000 ext 139 or email Jamie Bethel at jbethel@cityofsedalia.com  The classes will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Commerce Building loft Apartments, 203 S Ohio and 6 p.m. at the Sedalia City Hall, 200 South Osage.
