The luncheons will be auctioned during the Scott Joplin Festival.  Local celebrity chefs will prepare a boxed lunch which is paired with four ragtime performers who will dine with the winning bidder on Saturday, June 7 at the Liberty Center.  Celebrity chefs include:

“We are very excited to work with the Scott Joplin Foundation to offer an opportunity for festival goers to have one on one time with the performers,” said Terri Ballard, of the Liberty Center.  Proceeds will be split between the Liberty Center and the Joplin Foundation.  The center will be closed to the public so the auction winners and the performers can enjoy a private lunch.  The lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday.
