LCAA Presents “Daddy’s Dyin, Who’s Got the Will”

Daddy’s Dyin’ Who’s Got The Will is the season closer at the historic Lona Theatre operated by the Liberty Center Association for the Arts.  Tickets are now available for this hilarious comedy at the Center located at 111 West 5th Street in Sedalia.  Show dates are May 8-11, 2014 and tickets are $12 each. The story is set in a small Texas Town and concerns the reunion of the Turnover Family, who is gathered to await the imminent death of their patriarch. In essence, however, it is not the story of the impending demise of the father or of the drafting of his will, but a story of the rebirth of the spirit of the family unit. The show stars (from 9 to 5 The Musical), Jessica Jones and Roxanne Griggs as well as Anne Townsend as sisters; Marc Hibbard as Daddy and Marco Infante (both of 9 to 5 The Musical); Janie Haulotte will make her theatrical debut as Mama Wheelis, finally, Rebecca Smith and Anthony Caldwell round out the cast of this funny show.

Daddy’s Dyin’ opens at the historic Lona on May 8, 2014 under the direction of Ashley Cook.  “This is a great cast with a lot of energy.  It will be such fun but also heartwarming.  I invite everyone to come see this show and support our community theatre,” says Cook.
