The StoneLion Puppet Theatre will be performing for Camp Blue Sky, Thursday, July 30 at noon, in the Stauffacher Theatre at State Fair Community College. the production "Starry Starry Night" will feature simple astronomy and constellation stories with wacky Professor Van Gogo as the audience explores the sun and discovers what a star is. Presented to grades one through five, the puppet program encompasses twenty-five minutes of light humour and is open to the public.

"Construction Physics," is a handson workshop scheduled for Tuesday morning, July 28, will involve grades seven, eight, and nine in an exploration of velocity, friction, gravitation and energy. Facilitated by Brad Shaw, a master teacher from Kansas City, students will actively participate in a challenge to engineer a structure.

Both programs are planned to expand the camp theme "Art is a Mad Science" emphasizing the problem-solving skills of trial, error and imagination needed to create art through science.
