Eric Church is ready to go even bigger for his tour in support of his forthcoming new album, Desperate Man. On Friday (Sept. 21), via Facebook Live, the country superstar announced plans for a new trek that will take what he did on his Holdin' My Own Tour another step further.

"Where do we go from where we've been?" Church mused. "How do you go from over three hours of music ... Where do we go next? ... I think we double down."

So, in 2019, Church's aptly titled Double Down Tour will stop in 18 cities for two nights each, plus one stadium show in Nashville. The trek is scheduled to begin on Jan. 18 in Omaha, Neb. "It's gonna be unique, and it's gonna be epic," Church said in his livestream.

Members of Church's fan club, the Church Choir, will have priority access to pre-sale tickets. For the general onsales, Church is using Ticketmaster's Verified Fan system. Additionally, tickets inside of the stage will only be available via Church's new app. More information is available at

On Oct. 5, Church will release his sixth studio album, Desperate Man. He's been releasing snippets of the record's songs in recent weeks, sharing the teasers with his fan club a day earlier than the general public. Paid fan club members will also receive Desperate Man in its entirety automatically when it is released.
