Eat Your Veggies…Not Your Hair!

Doctors at Bishkek Hospital in Kyrgyzstan who examined a teen girl in gastric distress were shocked to discover she had a hairball in her stomach that was bigger than most newborns.  The 18-year-old had a habit of chewing her own hair and eating hair she found around her home. As a result of her peculiar peccadillo, an 8.9 pound hairball, which was shaped like and nearly clogged her entire stomach, had to be surgically removed. So kids, remember, if you're hungry for that after-school snack, don't head for the nearest hair brush.  Instead, grab some carrot sticks, apple slices, or a few stick of celery with some peanut butter.  Unless you want a ride to the local hospital!  Believe me...you'll thank yourself later!
