January 24, 2014 It's the biggest sporting event of the year. The most watched event on television in the nation. The reason Americans eat 1.25 billion chicken wings in one day. In my family, it's pretty much a real holiday. It's the Super Bowl. And this year, we have what looks to be a great match-up between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks. Who will you be rooting for?
January 8, 2014 A friend of mine just had an interesting thing happen to him the other day. He went out to eat at a buffet with his girlfriend. They were seated, given drinks, and had their plates taken away once while they were there. After they finish their meal, my friend's girlfriend tells him he has to tip. He said, "Well, they didn't really do anything besides bring us water when we got here, but that's fine I guess." So he puts down two bucks on like a $16 dollar check, but his girlfriend says he needs to tip a full twenty percent like normal, and nags him until he does.
If you're planning on getting gussied up and hitting the town for New Year's, you're in the minority.
You may or may not know, but Rob and I goof off quite a bit. Rob and I were hanging out one day and I brought up something I could do fairly easily in the past. Rob doesn't believe I could do it anymore, and of course, I can't back down from a challenge.

December 2, 2013 I grew a beard out for No Shave November. It's pretty scraggly. I've been waiting all month to shave, but now that November is finally over, I'm wondering if I should just keep it since I took all this time to grow it.

November 12, 2013 I saw something kind of strange the other day on Facebook: Someone saying that they couldn't wait for winter. I know it wasn't sarcastic either, because they added little emoticons of smiley faces, snowmen and candy canes. And if a snowman emoticon isn't sincere, then I don't know what is.
November 12, 2013 I'm sure most of you know it's No Shave November. Guys everywhere grow out their beards for an entire month to raise awareness for prostate cancer. A few of us here at the station are doing it, and we've already come across a dilemma we need help with: can we shave our necks?
November 12, 2013 The CMA awards took place last week, and one of the big headlines was that Kacey Musgraves song "Follow Your Arrow" was censored. The word "joint" was removed from her performance. Which was interesting to me because they left the word "crack" (as in cocaine) in the song.
