There's no sense in denying cats can be a little sassy from time to time, simply because they're not afraid to make it totally obvious they hate something. Costumes? Check. Reindeer antlers? Double check. Their 'tude doesn't make them any less adorable, though! It's sort of charming, actually.
February 4, 2013 We had a great time at the 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show held at the Missouri State Fairgrounds last weekend (Feb. 2-3). Attendees enjoyed the Pop Up 3D Archery Shoot, participated in our "Shake It for Luke Bryan" contest, hung out with actor Marshall Teague and and shopped around at the vendor booths throughout the Mathewson Center. The event also collected 272 pounds of canned goods for the Open Door Food Pantry. Enjoy these photos of all the fun at the Cabin Fever Sports Show!
One of the best parts about the Super Bowl is that everyone becomes football fans when it rolls around. It doesn't matter where you're from, whether or not you know what's going on or if you're just watching the game for the commercials (guilty)-- it's just a fun ol' time!
January 31, 2013 Well kids, you and I both know it's a long Thursday. It's just one of those days where it's cold outside, there's nothing to do (until our Cabin Fever Sports Show this weekend anyway), and you just don't wanna do any actual work. Right? Right.

Thom Shepherd, Wynn Varble and Coley McCabe put on a great show out at Dukes & Boots on Wednesday, Jan. 30. Not only did we get to enjoy some Nashville country classics, but we were able to raise $1431 to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the auction at the show. January 28, 2013 I took the kids to see the Harlem Globetrotters at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. I grew up watching Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neil and Goose on TV. The spirit of the team lives on with new players and the show was fantastic. The trick plays were timed perfectly and they do amazing things with a basketball. The announcer added excitement to the "championship game" by pointing out how close it was. Of course, the Globetrotters were victorious. Here's a few photos from the event.
The Animal Planet's 'Puppy Bowl' has announced their lineup for 2013. This hit Superbowl spoof features adorable puppies that hail from rescue organizations both in the US and Puerto Rico and will air on February 3rd at 3PM. The show will also feature the fan favorite Kitty Halftime Show to satisfy the cat lovers who just adore watching cuddly kittens play and the fuzzy baby chicken cheerleaders that will send animal lovers everywhere into squealing fits over their cuteness.
