Nostalgia

I'm a huge fan of the TV series Gunsmoke. I grew up watching Sheriff Matt Dillon, Festus, Chester (pre-Festus), Miss Kitty and Doc Adams, but I didn't know this!

It's fun to drive around Sedalia and remember what previous businesses used to be in town. Some of us remember them like it was yesterday and others not so much.

It's always fun to venture back in time and revisit some of the television shows that were our favorites. Some of my favorite shows were in the decade we're visiting today. Being lucky enough to grow up and watch television starting in the 60's, I've had the chance to watch some great sitcoms...

The method of delivering music to us over the years has definitely changed. When you grew up, especially in your teen years, what was your favorite? I know it changed for me from when I was a pre-teenager up to what I listen to today. If you were a child of the 40's, 50, or early 60's, you had three choices-78, 33 or 45 rpm records...

90+ degrees one day...77 degrees the next. Hello, Missouri! We're less than four weeks from the first day of Autumn. As we roll into the month of September, the 22nd is the first day of Fall. Are you ready?

Changing of time...some of us enjoy it, relish the thought of changes. Others despise it. The last thing we want is to see things change. With progress comes the double-edged sword.

With everything going on with the coronavirus, I think we're aching for our daily activities and the world around us to return back to normal. (Whatever that was!) It seems as many of us are going back to stuff that happened before the COVID-19 pandemic so I thought I'd go back a few years and pull back out this interview I did with William Katt...
