January 31, 2013 The Cabin Fever Sport Show is this weekend, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m at the Mathew Exhibition Center on the State Fairgrounds. This year's show will welcome celebrity guest Marshall Teague.

In closed session on Monday, January 28, 2013, the Board of Education of the Sedalia #200 School District, hired Mr. Jason Curry to be the Smith-Cotton Jr. High School Principal for the 2013-2014 school year. In addition to hiring Curry, the Sedalia #200 School District, hired Mr. Wade Norton to be the Smith-Cotton High School Principal for the 2013-2014 school year as well.
