Kids, you may or may not know this, but, at one point in my life I was headed in a completely different direction than the one I currently walk. Yes, I did all sorts of things as a kid, but generally there was a common theme to a lot of it. I really liked school, and I loved the libraries. So of course, I had my head in books a lot.

When I was small up until about my junior year of college, I was going to be a teacher. Specifically, I was going to be a high school English teacher. I know, can you imagine? I'd not only be the goofiest teacher ever, but half the time I'd be mistaken for a student. But yes, I was always in love with books, plays, poetry, and all that stuff. I did creative writing, I did theater, I did tons of reading. So when I see things like this upcoming event, I'm always interested.
