Pettis County Health Center has been advised by community members that scam phone calls regarding credit cards have been received using the Pettis County Health Center as the number where the call is originating.
On the evening of Friday, December 18th, around 8:00, officers conducted a traffic stop at West Broadway and Industrial Drive. The driver of the vehicle had been observed driving erratically and weaving in and out of the his lane of travel.
On Monday, December 14 at 9:31 a.m., deputies from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office responded to Smith-Cotton High School, 2010 Tiger Pride Blvd in Sedalia, on the report of a disturbance involving a student with a knife.
According to a Nixle from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office, Monday morning Pettis County Deputies arrested a 17-year-old student at Smith-Cotton High School for threatening an administrator with a knife.
Sedalia Police investigated an accident that occurred early this morning (December 2) around 2. A vehicle traveled into the front of a home in the area of East 10th and South Hancock. The drivers of the vehicle fled the scene and have not been located as of our morning news.
