The Locash Cowboys put on a great show this past Saturday night (Dec. 15) at the Liberty Center. Part of the night's festivities was a silent auction, which included a couple of LoCash autographed guitars. The proceeds went to the Sedalia Lions Club Coats and Shoes program.
Being on the road all the time certainly can take a toll on one's voice -- especially for country stars who really like to belt it out at every tour stop. After losing her voice on her 2012 Blown Away Tour recently, the ever-generous Carrie Underwood plans to donate the proceeds of her Des Moines concert to charity.
December 17, 2012 We were excited to bring the LoCash Cowboys to Sedalia for a special acoustic concert. Chris and Preston put on a fantastic show. They entertained us with songs we've heard them sing on the radio as well as hits they've written that were recorded by others. They also told the story behind the music and some stories of past experiences in Sedalia.
December 15, 2012 The Sprint Center in Kansas City announced today that due to illness, Carrie Underwood's show scheduled for tonight, Saturday, Dec. 15, at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. has been rescheduled to May 1, 2013. As a result of the Kansas City date change, Carrie’s show in Springfield, Ill. will be moved to May 6. Tickets for the original Kansas City date will be honored on the new date and all other show dates remain as scheduled.
Country music is going international with the C2C: Country to Country, the first-ever two day country music extravaganza to be held at London's historic O2 Arena. Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood have been announced as the headlining acts for the superstar-heavy event, which is set to take place on March 16 and 17, 2013.
