In a Facebook post on their page the medical center posted an info-graphic detailing what personal protection equipment they are accepting. "With COVID-19 cases climbing, doctors and health care workers are facing a dire shortage of masks, surgical gowns and eye gear to protect them from the virus."

Items Western Missouri Medical Center is accepting include:

  • eye protection and googles
  • face shields
  • surgical masks
  •  sterile and non sterile gloves
  • disposable gowns
  • biohazard bags

Donated items need to be unused and unopened. The medical center asks that people bring the donations to the outpatient entrance between 5:30AM - 5:30PM CDT Monday - Friday.

Additionally their info-graphic says the medical center is now accepting homemade masks. Their Facebook post directs to an article from the Evansville Courier & Press for more information on how you can make CDC compliant masks. You can find that article here.
