The following streets will be affected by the installation of water mains and service lines during the next week:

 W. 16th Street from its’ intersection with South Beacon Avenue to South Warren Avenue will be reduced to one lane beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 12 and will re-open at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 16.
 South Warren Avenue at its’ intersection with West 18th Street will be closed periodically beginning on Tuesday, April 13 at 7 a.m. and continuing through Friday, April 16 at 5 p.m.
 East 3rd Street at its’ intersection with South Stewart Avenue will be closed to all traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, and will re-open at 5 p.m.
 East 3rd Street at its’ intersection with South Quincy Avenue will be closed to all traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14 and will re-open at 5 p.m.

Travelers in these areas are encouraged to plan for use of alternate routes during this period to avoid delays.

The City apologized for any inconvenience the road closures and lane restrictions may cause as they work to improve the water utility services in these areas. The work is weather and equipment dependent and the re-opening dates may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns.
