Warsaw Woman Inured in Two-Vehicle Accident in Benton County

An 81-year-old Warsaw woman suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday evening in Benton County.

Dixie M. Barlow was the passenger in a southbound 2001 Mercury driven by Herbert E. Barlow, 83, Warsaw. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound 2003 Chrysler driven by 28-year-old Alyssa N. Arnold, Sedalia, failed to yield to the Mercury, resulting in the crash at US 65 and Route H.

Dixie Barlow was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center b y Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance.

Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed from the scene. The Benton County Sheriff's Department and the Lincoln Police Department assisted the Patrol with the investigation.
