Warsaw Man Killed in Benton County Motorcycle Accident

A Warsaw man died in a motorcycle accident that occurred in Benton County on Tuesday.

According to the MSHP, 46-year-old John L. Woods was the driver of a southbound 2014 Harley Davidson on Commercial Street one-third of a mile north of Highway 7 at 11:57 a.m., when he failed to negotiate a curve, overturned and struck a light pole and concrete curbing, ejecting the driver.

He was pronounced dead by Benton County Coroner J. Weston Miller at 12:28 p.m. at the Benton County Coroner's Office.

Benton County deputies and Warsaw Police assisted the Patrol at the scene.
