Warrensburg Woman Charged with Murder, Domestic Assault

On July 25 at 6:22 p.m., Warrensburg Police responded to the 700 block of East Colton for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress.

Upon arrival, a male subject was found in the residence not breathing and was later determined to be deceased.

40-year-old Maegan Elizabeth Murray of Warrensburg, was arrested for involuntary homicide and assault.

Murray was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Johnson County Jail with no bond. Her charges were later amended to include felony 2nd degree murder and felony 1st degree domestic assault.
