Warrensburg Teen Dies in a Johnson County Accident Monday Afternoon

At 3:35 Monday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a fatal accident on US-50 Highway West of Highway FF in Johnson County.

According to the report, the accident occurred as 2006 Jeep Liberty driven by 17-year-old Zachary A. Parsons of Warrensburg traveled off the roadway, struck a culvert, became airborne, and overturned, coming to rest on the passenger side.

Parsons was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Johnson County Coroner at 4:16 pm. The victim was taken to Williams Funeral Home by the coroner.
