Warrensburg's Clean The Burg community-wide clean up is this Friday and Saturday, September 29 - September 30, 2023. If you've got a little time this weekend Warrensburg Main Street wants you to help them spruce up downtown before this year's fall events.

According to information on Warrensburg Main Street's website, the group is looking for people to help them clean up downtown and get it ready for the City's fall events, including Burgfest.

They write, "Now that school is back in session and UCM has started, Downtown starts to get busier and busier. We are needing volunteers to help care for our flower beds as we transition them to fall. We will also need help picking up trash, pulling weeds, doing some lawncare and getting Downtown Warrensburg ready for Fall!"

If you have some time to give to Warrensburg Main Street to tidy up downtown, or you have a green thumb you can lend them, you can volunteer for the event here. Volunteer slots from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM time slot are filled, however, the group is still looking for people who can volunteer during the late afternoon hours of 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Downtown events this fall in Warrensburg kick off with the completion of the 2023 Farmer's Market season, with Warrensburg's Moonlight Market this Saturday night, September 30, 2023, from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM.  That will be followed by the Burg Fest Street Fair on Friday, October 6, and Saturday, October 7. Later this fall downtown Warrensburg will also play host to the Downtown Spooktacular, Shop Small Saturday, and Dickens Christmas.

You can learn more about all these events on the Warrensburg Mainstreet website here.
