UCM Classes Canceled Today at ‘Burg, Lee’s Summit
All University of Central Missouri classes at the Warrensburg and Lee's Summit campuses are canceled Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025, due to inclement weather.
Only weather-essential personnel should report to work. University crews will be clearing parking lots and walkways, although many county roads and local streets may be slick.
Online classes are not included in this closure. Students taking in-person classes should check Blackboard or Brightspace for updates from faculty members regarding alternative requirements.
Michelle Taylor’s keynote presentation, scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, will now be a virtual event hosted via Zoom. Taylor, who is an educator, writer, public speaker, community activist and social worker, will speak about building community.
