Two Warsaw residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Sunday afternoon in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2015 Chevy Cruze, driven by 80-year-old Jean L. Laury of Warsaw, was at Missouri 7 and Cold Springs Avenue around 4:15 p.m., when Laury pulled into the path of an eastbound 2019 Chevy Tahoe, driven by 43-year-old Andrew S. Ehlers of Warsaw.

The Tahoe struck the Cruze, and traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a stop sign, then returned to the road and traveled off the left side. The Cruze came to rest in the roadway.

Ehlers suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton, while Laury suffered serious injuries, and was flown by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
