Two Seriously Injured in Moniteau County Accident
Two people were seriously injured in an accident around 10:45 a.m. on January 30 in Moniteau County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire failed to negotiate a curve on MO 179. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree, came to rest in a ditch, and caught fire. 30-year-old David Hashagan of Sturgeon, and 20-year-old Melissa Hall of Columbia, were both taken by EMS to University Hospital for treatment.
