On Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 2:45 p.m., Pettis County Deputies and detectives with the Mid-Mo Drug Task Force conducted a narcotics investigation on information that two subjects were in possession of a controlled substance in the area of the Pettis County Courthouse.

A a result of investigation, two subjects, 18-year-old Billi D. Erwin of Warsaw, and 49-year-old Bradley D. Kumberg of Windsor, were located and taken into custody. They were allegedly found to be in possession of a significant amount of methamphetamine.

The Pettis County Prosecutor's Office later filed the following charges:

Billi D. Erwin – possession of a controlled substance (Class D felony) with a bond of $7,500 cash or surety.

Bradley D. Kumberg – possession of a controlled substance (Class D felony) and 2nd degree trafficking (Class C felony) with a bond of $15,000 cash or surety.
