Trash Pick-up, Recycling Schedule Noted for Thanksgiving Week

The City of Sedalia will observe the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24 - 25.

Offices in the Municipal Building will be closed in observance of the holiday and no trash and recycling pick-ups will be made on those dates.

All City offices will reopen on Monday, Nov. 28 for normal business hours.

If your trash & recycling is normally picked up on Tuesday, it will will be picked up Monday, Nov. 21.

If your trash & recycling is normally picked up on Wednesday, it will be picked up Tuesday, Nov. 22.

If your trash & recycling is normally picked up on Thursday, it will will be picked up Wednesday, Nov. 23.

If your trash & recycling is normally picked up on Friday and you live north of 16th Street, it will will be picked up Tuesday, Nov. 22.

If your trash & recycling is normally picked up on Friday and you live south of 16th Street, it will be picked up Wednesday, Nov. 23.

And on the week of Nov. 28 - Dec. 2, all trash & recycling will be on normal schedule except Friday. If your trash & recycling is normally picked up on Friday, It will be picked up on Monday, Nov. 28 AND Friday, Dec. 2.
