This Treasure Hunters Paradise In Missouri Is Open Year Round? Lets Go!
My colleague Mike Pettis has something in common with a few of my family members. He is able to find treasures in places or situations where some people will see junk. If you happen to be a person who loves a good flea market, or a swap shop, and is always looking for a diamond in the rough, then let me tell you about Nate's Swap and Shop in Kansas City.
This supersized flea market is the largest in Kansas City. It is open year round on Saturdays and Sundays. You literally can find just about anything there. Clothes, food, tools, plants, etc.
Located just minutes from downtown Kansas City, Nate’s Swap Shop features vendors with new and used merchandise, events and plenty of family fun. It’s the one place where everyone gets what they want.
Each weekend at Nate’s Swap Shop you can buy, sell, and just spend the day with friends and family. Come see why Nate’s Swap Shop is everybody’s place for big deals and big fun.
What makes this place also a little different than some of the flea markets is that they will often have food trucks, food vendors and other options. With a place this large, you may need to fuel up before taking that walk around to the vendors who may have the options that you are looking for.
You will find name brand items as well as homemade goods, handmade items, and many of them are made locally.
It is encouraged that if you see something that you want, buy it. It may not last, and apparently goods are always the first to go. I would make sure you have cash and credit options for you.
If you want the best deals get there early, and parking is free. There is a small charge for entrance. You can visit their website HERE. Their Facebook page link is HERE
Have you ever been to this place? Is it worth the trip? Share your thoughts. With Christmas not that far away, maybe it couldn't hurt to plan a weekend trip and maybe you get lucky. Happy shopping...or swapping!
