I must admit that celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is an acquired taste - so to speak. He's not only gained fame with his reality TV shows, but also is credited/blamed for the best place in Missouri to eat steak allegedly.

I haven't been to the Kansas City area for a few years, so I wasn't aware of Gordon Ramsay Steak. Thanks to Only In Your State for putting it on my radar. They credit Gordon (or maybe just his restaurant?) for being not just one of the best places to eat steak, but anything.

As it turns out, Gordon Ramsay had quite a brush with Kansas City Chief greatness when he opened his restaurant a few years ago. This is him hanging out with Chiefs execs at a practice.

That's not all. There was quite a red carpet rollout when his restaurant first opened its doors in the big city. Gordon Ramsay Steak is the place.

According to the official website, Gordon Ramsay Steak only has 4 restaurant locations in the United States. The fact he chose Kansas City, Missouri as one is a nice catch for the Show Me State. Considering that Patrick Mahomes is an owner of many Kansas City Whataburger restaurants, I'm doubting we'll see an endorsement by him anytime soon.
