The National Weather Service says we can expect showers and thunderstorms tonight and overnight. Then more of the same tomorrow.

It may not seem as dramatic as rain or snow, but wind is a weather phenomenon that can also wreak havoc.

Tornadoes and thunderstorms rampaged through the Midwest today, killing several people in Illinois and leaving a path of destruction.
