On Monday night, the Sedalia City Council approved a recommendation from the Citizens’ Traffic Advisory Commission to reopen S. Washington Ave. between E. 4th Street and E. 5th Street to 2-way traffic and to install a 4-way stop at the intersection of E. 5th St. and S. Washington Ave.
Okay folks, I know we don’t live in a big city. We here in the Sedalia area don’t have to deal with too much in terms of traffic.Having said that, I KNOW I can’t be the only person who gets annoyed at the way “some people’s children” drive in this town.

The traffic lights at Hwy 50 and 65 malfunctioned around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon (Jan. 28). for the second time this week. The Sedalia Police Department sent out officers to guide traffic during the time the traffic lights were out.
