The Missouri Department of Transportation is warning that imposters are sending threatening texts to drivers pretending to be them.

You would be surprised how many in Missouri have fallen for this. It's a text claiming that you owe a toll and there's a good reason you should delete it immediately.

You should always know and be able to verify where a text originates from. Some Missouri residents are finding that out the hard way as there is a current scam that is emptying bank accounts suddenly and with little opportunity for recourse.

I ain't clickin' on nothin, I ain't callin' anybody back, and if the first thing your call says is "Don't hang up", I've already hung up before you finished that sentence.
