Superman

Even a movie where two superheroes are fighting against other needs a supervillain. That's where Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor comes into play. Every good villain needs an evil master plan and Lex Luthor is no exception, but what exactly is his nefarious plan? According to a new report, we've got a pretty good idea. SPOILERS AHEAD, obviously.

We've already seen our fair share of 'Batman vs. Superman' set photos showing off Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot, but we now have our first look at Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne! And he looks like ... Ben Affleck! With some grey in his hair! Yeah, thats not too surprising. After all, the ruggedly handsome Affleck already looks enough like a playboy millionaire and the little bit of grey just confirms what director Zack Snyder has already said: this will be an older, more tired Batman.

When director Zack Snyder unveiled our first look at Ben Affleck all suited up as Batman (with his trusty Batmobile by his side) in his upcoming turn in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' the photo in question sent the internet into a whirl of excitement. Unfortunately, the same can't really be said of Henry Cavill's reveal, primarily because it's not even of him as Superman, but rather his journalistic alter-ego, Clark Kent.

Just a few months ago, Tom Hanks wondered aloud why he was never cast in a superhero movie. "They don’t ask me and I keep trying … Come on, I can do it. Let me play a bad guy, let me play the bad guy against Batman. I’ll do anything, call me!" he said. And, guess what? They almost did. It turns out Hanks was on a very shortlist of contenders to play Lex Luthor in 'Batman vs. Superman.' R

2015 was looking like the craziest year in cinema history (at least in terms of blockbusters) with 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron,' 'Star Wars: Episode 7' and more battling it out in the summer and winter months. 'Batman Vs. Superman' was one of the those big titles, but Warner Brothers and DC seemingly don't want to compete with that crowd and have moved the picture to May 6, 2016

There may be hope for the existence of a real-life Superman.  He's a little young right now, but he's already got the attire, the awesomely nonchalant attitude, and the ability to fall out of a window and land on his feet.
