A small group of City of Sedalia Public Works team members will be working at Spring Fork Lake to assist the Missouri Department of Conservation with planned forestry management activities.
The City will be evaluating the lake's condition on a weekly basis thereafter in relation to the continued presence of the algae bloom to determine a re-opening date for public recreational use.
The City of Sedalia has entered into an agreement with Agrarian Technology Development Company, LLC that may result in the development of land around Spring Fork Lake.
