Here's what some local school districts are doing to meet the needs of hungry children out of school due to the measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Well, you know I don't keep my mouth shut, so I'm fixin' to climb up on a soap box. Okay, as you know, I am not an Obamunist, I am a God-fearing, gun-lovin' American that has heard enough of the BS. As of 12:01 a.m. EST on Tuesday, the federal government closed down. Congressional leaders in the House of Representatives and the Senate were unable to reach an agreement on a budget or a temporary fix, known as a continuing resolution, before the start of the new fiscal year on October 1.
