I am sometimes guilty of not throwing enough stuff away as the phrase "pack rat" has been used to describe me. However, I'm safer than most in Missouri as there is a long list of things you can't legally throw away without facing consequences if you're caught.
I was brought up to believe that you should recycle everything you can to avoid creating unwanted waste in a community. That turned out to be true, but I was truly surprised by many things I thought you could recycle in Missouri, but really can't.
What are some things that you'll re-use before you throw them out, like those danish butter cookie containers that are always used for sewing supplies? Or those margarine tubs that people re-use as Tupperware?
