The popularity of pickleball was a subject of conversation at Thursday’s meeting.

The Sedalia Park Board has authorized a change order for construction at Liberty Park Baseball Stadium for up to $90,000.

Hoefer Welker has been chosen as the design team for Sedalia’s new outdoor aquatic facility and bowling alley.

A special session has been scheduled for the Park Board to meet Monday at 2:40 p.m., to approve the aquatic facility and bowling alley RFQ. The public is invited to attend.

The Sedalia Senior Center is planning a fund-raising event to take place in late June.

The leisure pool is expected to reopen this Sunday, Jan. 15.

The Sedalia Park Board conducted business in 15 minutes Thursday at the Heckart Community Center,
