Michael Fassbender’s serial killer thriller The Snowman is one of our most anticipated movies of the fall, and for good reason. The latest trailer for it gives an extremely creepy Girl with the Dragon Tattoo vibe, as a serial killer re-emerges from hiding with the first fallen snow and embarks on his next killing spree, which turns out to be a lot more than what it looks like on the surface.
It feels like Michael Fassbender has been attached to an Assassin’s Creed movie for years, to the point where we began to wonder whether this movie would ever actually exist (it at one point was scheduled to open in theaters three months ago)...
When an Entertainment Weekly cover revealed our first look at Oscar Isaac as the titular villain in X-Men: Apocalypse, most fans were not impressed, drawing comparisons to cheesy Power Rangers villain Ivan Ooze. But, director Bryan Singer is back to defend the costume, saying it’s actually “very similar” to the comic book design, and has shared some new hi-res X-Men: Apocalypse photos at the same time.
The first trailer for the new Steve Jobs biopic (titled Steve Jobs) didn’t show much from the film, specifically Michael Fassbender’s performance as that late Apple head. Today, a new trailer has been released that gives us a much better look into the film (and the life of Steve Jobs) and that’s both a great thing, and a not-so-great thing.
All right, so Steve Jobs has nothing to do with Jobs, the Ashton Kutcher biopic about late Apple cofounder and CEO Steve Jobs — except for the fake that they’re about the same person. The twist, supposedly, for this new Jobs biopic, which is directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin, is that the whole film is set at and around three different Apple product launches. (Kutcher’s version featured a more traditional biopic structure).
Last night, we reported that 20th Century Fox was shaking up its schedule, maneuvering sequels to ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ and ‘Fantastic Four’ into new positions. However, one of the films given a new release date is a project that continues to perplex us: the adaptation of the popular video game ‘Assassin’s Creed,’ which was first announced ages ago as a franchise for Michael Fassbender. Will we ever see this movie or will it continue to keep shifting further and further backwards on Fox’s schedule until it vanishes altogether?
While you'd think 'X-Men: Apocalypse' would focus the majority of its attention on its titular character, Fox and director have some different ideas. When you've got two of the hottest stars in Hollywood contractually obligated to star in your movie, you make them the center of the action. And, that's what is reportedly happening with the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' script, which is being developed around Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence and the burgeoning romance between Magneto and Mystique.
'X-Men: Days of Future Past' has a lot of moving parts -- it's based on a comic book, it combines both casts of the original 'X-Men' movie trilogy and that of 'First Class,' and there's some pretty unique time traveling going on -- so it's understandable if those unfamiliar with the franchise or the story get a bit lost. That's where we come in! We give you everything you need to know about 'X-Men
