Knob Noster aldermen have acted on a reccomendation from the City Manager and Police Chief by approving the addition of two police officers to the force.

The City of Sedalia officially swore in the new mayor and two new city council members at the Sedalia City Council meeting Monday night (April 22).

The 2014 General Municipal Election is over, and 2,972 voters headed to the polls in Pettis County to make their voice heard.

The race for Sedalia's Mayor has lost one candidate after it was discovered that candidate John Fritz had not paid his personal property tax in time to certify his candidacy.

Prior to the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce Breakfast this Thursday morning (Dec. 12), KSIS had the opportunity to talk to Sedalia Mayor Elaine Horn about upcoming events  this weekend. Mayor Horn will be riding in the parade this year, which will take place at 10:00 Saturday morning after being delayed by cold weather last Saturday.

If there's one thing I'm sure we've all seen driving around town, it's the good old Christmas lights.  It seems like some people are ready to get their lights up as soon as Halloween!  But now it's December, and that means that everybody's gonna be getting theirs up soon.  So why not join in on a little friendly competition?
