Live Broadcast

This past weekend (April 18) was our 2nd annual After Work Sip and Shop.  We held it this year at the Knights of Columbus Hall. It was so much fun, and I have the photos to prove it.

KIX 105, 92.3 BOB-FM and Newstalk 1050 KSIS along with the Red Cross hosted a blood drive on Friday, Dec. 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We went over to the Knights of Columbus on Friday to encourage people to give the gift of life.  The strange weather didn't keep Sedalia away from helping their fellow man! Here's some photos of the blood drive and all the fun we had.

Coming up this weekend, I'm going to get to do some more live broadcasting, and this time we'll be on location at the Healthy Habits store on Broadway in Sedalia.

It was a huge weekend for the folks looking to save some money with Rent-A-Center.Not only were they having a big sale where you could pay four weeks in advance and get another four weeks off, but they also had us join the fun with our 105 Pounds of Cash!  It was pretty amazing to see all the great stuff they had.

Dugan’s Paint and Flooring Center is hosting a License to Spill event with their Let’s Decorate for A  Cure.  It's an enormously fun way to just do everything your mother ever told you NOT to do inside the house.

This past Friday (Oct. 11), I was lucky enough to get out to the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center and rock out a bit with the great folks out there for their blood drive.  These people were the epitome of working through hardship, I'll tell you that for free!

This 105 Pounds of Cash thing is getting pretty crazy! People have been coming again and again to our events to take their guess.  I think some of you are getting it down to science. And that's part of what GNC in Warrensburg is getting up to this weekend. They've got getting you healthier down to a science, too!

Our radio stations like to help out  locally with as many local causes as we can.  It can be donating to a cause, getting the word out, or helping with the event, we'll do what needs to get done.  We're pairing up with the American Red Cross next week for a huge blood drive.

There are a lot of things going on this weekend, and most of them are for the kids.  The kids are very important, I agree.  And sometimes, don't you need a little stress relief?  A little something just for you?  Then make sure you get your shiny little self down to the VFW this Friday for our After Work Sip and Shop event.

Our 105 Pounds of Cash Giveaway continues to travel around our area, giving folks the chance to win a lot of money. This last weekend, the money and I headed out to Aaron's Sales and Leasing.
