According to a recent press release, the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri was recently given an excellence in programming award from the Missouri Area Council for its LEGO League robotics program.

LEGO recreations of trailers and scenes from films are often pretty fun to watch, though they’re not always of the best quality, as fans rush to complete and reveal their projects before someone else beats them to the punch. That’s not the case with Morgan Spence, a 15-year-old kid from Scotland whose LEGO recreations of famous movie scenes are really top notch. His latest project recreates the famous funeral scene from Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel—not the typical film you’d expect to see LEGO form, but once you do, you’ll be quite charmed.

Just yesterday, the reveal of a new Iron Man toy gave us out first glimpse of the character’s new armor in the upcoming ‘The Avengers 2.’ The trend of toys jumping the gun continues today: a German ad for the first wave of LEGO sets based on Joss Whedon’s superhero team-up sequel has made its way online and it may very well tease some setpieces and concepts that haven’t been present in any of the trailers thus far.

By now we've seen 'The Simpsons' tackling a number of pop-culture funhouse mirrors of themselves, from the recent 'Family Guy' crossover to last season's LEGO installment, and this year's "Treehouse of Horror" is no different. Everything really is awesome in the world of LEGO. After the success of Warner Bros.' 'The LEGO Movie,' the studio quickly signed off on 'The LEGO Movie 2' for a 2017 release. But now, with more than two years until the sequel, two more LEGO movies have been dated!
