Kaleb Filis, one of my best friends and our KIX Midday and BOB Afternoon Drive DJ has recently deployed to Afghanistan with the United States Air Force. He'll be there for a while, and I know he's going to be missing a lot of stuff from home (I know he's already crushed about missing baseball season). When I signed my name on the dotted line for the United State Air Force, it confirmed that for the next six years, Uncle Sam owned me. At the time, I had no idea I would eventually have my own radio show.  I also never thought the two worlds would merge. If you haven't heard by now, I will be deploying soon with the U.S. Air Force. My last day behind the mic will be March 7.

For the last 14 years I have been a part of your lives on the air and I have loved every minute of it, but now it is time for me to hand the reins over to Kaleb Filis in the Midday. I'll be tending to my administrative duties as Brand Manager and News Director of Better Country, KIX 105, 92.3 BOB-FM and Newstalk 1050 KSIS.
