Wow, what an awesome day at the Sedalia Rod & Gun Club! Last Saturday, we had about 300 people show up to the event, with over 100 of them fishing at one time. The Kansas City Retrievers Club put on Retriever exhibitions, and those dogs are awesome. All of the archery events were a big hit. The Traveling Panthers Little League Team provided lunch. What did I tell you? We're out of the cooler and into the fire with mid-90s this week. What the heck happened to the mid-80s? Oh well, I guess it couldn't last, but it's summertime and that means getting outside, hitting the great outdoors and having a redneck good time (no pun intended, you'll be getting a red neck from the sunburn).
We here at the station are getting super psyched for this big Great Outdoors Family Fun Day we're having this weekend at the Sedalia Rod and Gun Club. We're gonna be out there broadcasting live, and so I took a second to look a little deeper into one group that'll be out there with us.
Okay, cool temps and moisture are better than last year at this time and the food plots are looking good. We're getting ready to put out cameras and try some Bigtine. They've got it at Rusty Toad Archery in 40 lb. bags for less than $20. I can't wait!
The Great Outdoors Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Sedalia Rod and Gun Club. It will be a day filled with archery, shooting, fishing and all sorts of outdoor fun for the whole family. But which outdoor activity is your favorite?
