This morning, I had an opportunity to talk to JoAnn Martin, the Administrator of the Pettis County Health Center, about the upcoming flu season and the new vaccine that the center is recommending this year.
There has been a lot of talk about the flu lately. The CDC has called it an epidemic. Doug posted a list of places you can get your flu shot if you would like one. I haven't gotten mine and don't intend to. I'm knocking on wood as I type this, but I haven't gotten the flu shot in over 20 years and I've been fine. It is your choice though.
The flu season has run rampant across the country this year and the season continues on. Many people are trying to get a flu shot and are finding that they are hard to find. The CDC distributes them almost as much as they are used up.
