The Sedalia Area Habitat for Humanity is now accepting applications for the selection process of a new Habitat for Humanity home

Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri will host a drop-in day for Sedalia Sites only on Friday, Oct. 30.

The school year may be winding down, but Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is gearing up for Summer Program, a 10-week long learning program designed to keep children’s minds active and busy.

This morning I got to talk a little bit about a great project that's going to be coming to our area this summer.  I'm sure most people are familiar with Habitat for Humanity - they're a group that builds homes for families and individuals who are in extreme need.  With Sedalia's generous spirit, I'm sure that all of you will be interested in what they're doing.

Kids, here around the holiday season a lot of people are thinking about how fortunate they are with their own lives and families.  I know I am.  And sometimes I know people can be at a loss as to how they can give back a little to the people around them.
