Feral Hogs

We already know that feral hogs are a big problem in Missouri, but there are new signs that experts say shows these wild pigs are trying to take over. It's not just Missouri either, but many other parts of America, too.

I consider myself a natural-born skeptic and a new scientific paper won't be changing that outlook anytime soon. It makes a wild claim that feral hogs are actually good for Missouri.

My dad was a hunter in Missouri and I was a kid in Missouri so you'd think I'd know more about the various hunting season. Breaking news: I don't. This just in. It's not healthy to be a feral hog in Missouri. A new report shows that the Show Me State did away with over 6,000 of these invasive animals over the past 12 months.

A war has been raging in Missouri that you likely knew nothing about. The enemy that the state has in its sights is quite literally thousands of invasive feral hogs who are destroying the land and some of the species that are endangered and native to the state.

Estimates of feral swine abundance statewide, measured as the catch per unit effort, have decreased from 2016 to the present.
