There is so much stuff going on at the Missouri State Fair that is so important to people in our area. Farming, agriculture and youth in farming are so very vital to our way of life. Today I had two of the members of the Sedalia Area Farmer's Market board in to tell us about the different options you have to get fresh food for your family. Brenda Raetz and Beverly Rollings came in and told us some info you might not know about the SAFM.

In the last year or so, there has been a lot of attention given to our farmers. The Dodge commercial during the Super Bowl is one that immediately comes to mind. I think in this day and age, farming needs more attention, especially when you think they are responsible by and large for the food on our tables.
