I guess you could imagine people moving from table to table based on what is actually being played on it. Mahjong? Poker? Sternhalma? Old Maid? Dominoes? Go-Stop? Checkers? Uno?

The event will be February 21st, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Yeater Lobby of the State Fair Community College. Now is your time to get volunteering!

She works to get volunteers to foster animals  - not just cats, but dogs, too.

And while I'm not arguing that we could always have more fun stuff to do, particularly for the young people... this weekend, you have no excuse.

Human blood is required to save the lives of people suffering from accidents and disease millions of times each year in the United States. There is no way to manufacture human blood outside the body.

The amount of smarts, business acumen, hard won experience, and sheer talent in that room every year.... it's a great place to learn a little something.

There's also a big problem with the treatment of the animals, and well, Beth and her rescue are fighting that bit by bit.

I wish I'd known - if I'd known about the Cake Walk, I wouldn't have agreed to babysit Uncle Leprechaun this weekend!

Now, keep in mind, this isn't the Sedalia Parks and Recreation event, this is the one at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster.
