What's the best backpacking trail in the Midwest? There are no doubt some great options with many near the Great Lakes that normally get all the attention. However, there is one trail in Missouri that was just named one of the top 7 in the entire region.

If you're looking to escape from it all and spend some time in nature, staying in this restored '70s-era tour bus might just be the perfect get away.

Here's some of the new things you may or may not notice that the Missouri State Fair has worked on over the past year to make the fairgrounds nicer.

Missouri State Parks, a division of the Department of Natural Resources, today announced an expanded reservation window for campgrounds, increasing from a six-month period to a 12-month period.

Missouri State Parks campgrounds will reopen to accommodate existing campground reservations at 3 p.m., Monday, May 18.
