Bruce

We have been bringing back some of the voices of Sedalia radio's past in the last week. We have caught up with Tina Sapp, The Treecerman and now we catch up with Bruce, who was the morning show host for KIX 105 and 92.3 Bob-FM from September 2006 until April of 2013.

Okay, so apparently I have become a massive "grinch" because I don't want a Christmas tree from Bruce.  I contend I am not, in fact, a "grinch" and I will be happy to illustrate WHY I don't want a tree.

Sedalia loves a parade, and Saturday was the perfect day for it.  Sedalia's 40/8 Voiture 333 organized the event and participation was great!  Several veterans' and active military groups were represented.  There was no shortage of community groups as well.  All to honor those that have served our nation.

People are coming to me asking if I'm thrilled about the election.  Most of them are being sarcastic because my beliefs lean to the right.  The answer is "no."  I'm not thrilled.  But it has nothing to do with the outcome of the Presidential election.  No matter who won the election, the problems facing us as a nation don't change.

It used to be said that radio was the "theater of the mind."  However, with the internet, we can actually show you that on some days it appears us radio guys have no fashion sense.  Today is a prime example of that.

This week in "Complete The Sentence," we had some interesting responses.  One of the things most telling was the lack of response on shielding our kids from violence and sex on TV and movies.  Whether or not that is something you feel strongly about, it didn't spark enough with you to voice your opinion.
