Pettis County Ambulance District to Begin Service at Midnight
At 11:59 p.m. this evening (Sept. 30), APSI will stop their services for Pettis County, and the Pettis County Ambulance District will officially begin operations at midnight. Four new ambulances were brought in on Sept. 19 and will be centered at the Volunteer Fire Department at the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

Today (Aug. 29), emergency personnel in Sedalia helped lay to rest one of their own. Kenny M. Stone passed away in the line of duty on Aug. 23, 2013. Kenny served our community as a paramedic. He most recently worked for APSI in Sedalia, but had spent a career serving at the Sni-Valley Volunteer Fire Department where he was assistant chief, as well as Oak Grove EMS and Lifeguard Ambulance.
